4 months agoThe meats are perfectly grilled and succulent. The Iraqi kebabs have a slightly crispy crust, giving it a very nice texture. The onions and herbs are always fresh. The sauce adds a bit of richness and complexity to the flavors. The pita bread is always fresh. Typically, one has to wait 10 to 15 minutes because they start cooking after the order is placed. I It is worth the wait. Call ahead if you are in a hurry. The staff are always friendly. Two wrap sandwiches cost just $20, including taxes. I stop by every time I pass by on my way home after going downtown for the evening. After trying the other food trucks in the grou,I just go straight to this one now.

6 months agodelicious!! lived up to the hype for sure. tried the chicken shawarma wrap and was beyondd satisfied. It’s definitely shareable and priced well. chicken was SO flavorful and the wrap overall had a perfect ratio of meat to bread. would love to see a beef shawarma option. only thing is you have to be careful with parking! ask around to make sure you’re in an okay spot. will for sure be back!

2 years agoVery tasty and clean food!!! I love itttt never had shawarma like that in the US comes with fries and a lot things definitely recommend, I also tried their burgers it was amazing totally worth it! Friendly team and respectful I felt welcomed. 100% going back again!

2 years agoWow. Wow. The Best Burger I’ve Had with Soooooo Much Flavor! The food presentation looks like the pictures, looks good and tastes great. The fries are absolutely crispy with a special seasoning on them and I ate them all, very generous amount of fries. The burger is huge at least too me it’s pretty big and I ate it all cause it was soooo good. I’d like to say it’s an experience since I’ve not had a burger with the flavors I experienced at Shako Mako. It’s great Experience and you should go. Enjoy!!

3 years agoThe most tasteful and authentic iraqi shawarma around! top quality food and service. we made a catering order with a short notice and they didn't hesitate to help us. the shawarma and iraqi kebab were top notch and the appetizers were fresh and delicious. they're very nice and skilled people, will go back there again.

4 years agoThe best grill plater we had so far. Was craving for BBQ in this weather and decided to go to the food truck place. Found out this newly opened food truck. The owner Umar was so kind and gave us complimentary fries and salad with the platter. Prices are super reasonable. MUST TRY IT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
